“Mature skin is characterized by increased dryness, sun spots, fine lines, and laxity. It comes with age, but “it’s often related to sun exposure and smoking, too.” So yes, you can be a young person with “mature” skin.

Is there anything more annoying than dark age spots on your skin?
You may notice a growing number of small dark spots on your skin with each birthday that passes. Getting more and more of these age spots as you get older is a normal body reaction to sun exposure over time.
What Causes Them?
Age spots are caused by overactive pigment cells. Ultraviolet (UV) light speeds up the production of melanin, a natural pigment that gives skin its color. On skin that has had years of sun exposure, age spots appear when melanin becomes clumped or is produced in high concentrations. Use of commercial tanning lamps and beds also can cause age spots.
They most often start popping up at or around age 50, but younger people can also get age spots if they spend a lot of time in the sun. If you don’t like the appearance of your age spots, there are many things you can do to get rid of them.
Ways to treat Age Spots by natural means
Age spots are not dangerous. Still, you might not like them, especially if they show up on your face or hands. If age spots bother you, there are ways to make them less visible, or you can have them removed.
1. A Lemon Lift
Over time, lemon juice applied to the skin can help lighten age spots because of its gentle bleaching properties. If you have dark spots on your skin and you want them gone now, try this trick that works especially well on elbows. An easy way to get the benefits is to cut a few slices of lemon and place them directly on the spots for 10 minutes a day for about a month, or until you start seeing results.

2. Call Me Aloe
Apply pure aloe vera to your age spots. Aloe helps exfoliate skin and promotes the growth of new cells, which can help diminish the appearance of age spots. Apply aloe vera to your spots regularly to experience better results.

3. Yogurt and Parsley Blend
This mask will reduce the look of age spots and prevent new ones from forming! Mix together 2 tablespoons of sour cream or Greek yogurt with a teaspoon of chopped parsley. Once or twice a week, apply a thin layer to your face, or whichever area you’re concerned about. Rinse off after 15–20 minutes. Over time, you will start to see the spots fade. Yogurt and sour cream contain lactic acid that will lighten spots and parsley is packed with vitamin C, which nourishes the skin.
